Josuel is a Queens-born, NYC-based Dominican-American DJ working across synth-forward club music, electro, alt-pop and alternative house.
His sets unfold patiently, moving from atmosphere into rhythm-driven release while drawing on new wave, alt-dance, acid and techno. Vocals remain central, balancing melody with heavier textures—a sensibility shaped by NYC’s dance floor culture.
Though often grouped with indie dance or left-field house, his selections push beyond those labels toward a more melodic, genre-fluid approach.
Selected for the Forbes 30 Under 30 list, Josuel has performed for Louis Vuitton, Meta and Hugo Boss, appearing at venues including Radio City Music Hall. In 2025 he launched Ground Level (formerly Everything Everywhere), a New York party series centered on cross-genre electronic music and community-driven dance floors.
Alongside his DJ work, he is finishing his debut EP, Dark Amor—a set of melodic, synth-led club tracks reflecting a forward-looking approach to electro and alternative dance, drawing from post-punk to indie sleaze while pushing those influences into a contemporary club context.
